Trueline's client, a prestigious law firm specializing in healthcare defense, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate, Of Counsel, or Partner to join their team in Manhattan, Long Island, or White Plains. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex medical malpractice cases, representing a diverse array of healthcare providers and institutions.

What You'll Do as the Associate Attorney:

• Manage medical malpractice defense cases from start to finish
• Draft and respond to various legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and conferences
• Conduct and defend depositions of relevant parties and experts
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic advice
• Prepare and argue motions, including dispositive and pre-trial motions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and strategy development

You'll Succeed as the Associate Attorney if you Have:

• A Juris Doctor degree and admission to the New York State Bar
• At least 2 years of medical malpractice experience (REQUIRED)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities, particularly in interpreting medical records
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
• A proactive, self-starting approach to work
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
