The duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Construction Administrator include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, building owners, and contractors.
- Attend construction kick-offs, progress meetings, and final punch for projects as required.
- Perform periodic site visits to observe work in progress and verify compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor construction quality to meet design specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with the design teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve construction issues.
- Demonstrate understanding of electrical drawings and specifications in compliance with building codes.
- Review electrical change orders to verify they are following industry standards.
- Review electrical requests for information, RFIs, and discuss with the design engineers as needed.
- Participate in QAQC process for electrical drawings ensuring coordination among multiple disciplines.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 10 or more years of electrical experience in building construction
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
- Team player with strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s license
Preferred Skills
B.S. in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Understanding of construction management applications including but not limited to Procore, Newforma, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Microsoft Applications
