Role Description

Sansalone Associates is seeking a full-time on-site Director of Preconstruction & Estimating to join our team. The Director of Preconstruction will play a crucial role in overseeing all preconstruction activities, including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the success of our projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all preconstruction activities for construction projects.
• Analyze and evaluate project costs to prepare accurate and timely estimates.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the preconstruction team.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in preconstruction software and tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in preconstruction, estimating and construction management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven track record of successfully managing preconstruction phases of projects.
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting, estimating, and scheduling processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
