Pabst Labs manufactures Cannabis infused Beverages and Smokables under Pabst Blue Ribbon and St. Ides brands in the rapidly expanding California recreational cannabis industry, with plans to grow our business outside of California and become the industry leader for cannabis infused beverages across the country. This role will mainly be responsible for helping to develop new products, improve current products, oversee our packaging and ingredient procurement for existing products.
Preferred candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Must have food/beverage manufacturing procurement/planning and inventory control experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Strong work ethics, a self-starter comfortable working in a new industry with rapidly changing landscape
- Experience working in start-up environment, understanding need for flexibility in this phase of company development
- Strong mathematical skills
- College degree is preferred but not required
Job Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Packaging development
- Supplier sourcing/purchasing/vendor communication
- Account setup/Issue POs/Artwork/sample proofing
- Invoicing and accounts payable
- Inventory tracking
- Maintain Inventory levels to meet demands of production forecast
- Formula development
- Source suppliers for all ingredients
Production:
- Manufacturing partner communication
- Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure all packaging materials and ingredients onsite prior to scheduled production
- Schedule production at manufacturing partners as needed
Distributor:
- Order pickup coordination, new product entry
- Packaging Artwork
- Manage new artwork process
- Work with design firm to create new packaging graphics
- Review final artwork for compliance: nutritional, ingredients, barcode, BCC compliance
- Project Management
- Track progress of new SKU creation and update team weekly
- Update team with progress via Stage gate presentations
