JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the test and integration of complex PCBA of semiconductor devices and modules. Participates in a broad range of tasks including working with cross-functional team to perform electronic circuit design/ integration/ validation, production test verification, troubleshooting, and deployment setup/ support. Participates in a cross-functional team to develop creative, cost-competitive integration/ validation/ test solutions for new products at a system and sub-system level. • Interfaces with system engineering team and Manufacturing to ensure that systems meet all requirements and ship on time. • Electrical design experience/ knowledge, including digital circuit, analog circuit design, micro-computer, FPGA, power switching circuits. • Collaborates with the mechanical and firmware design teams, to ensure proper integration and validation of systems. • Participate in preliminary / critical design reviews of PCB. • Perform design changes / circuit performance improvement of existing products. • Support factory testing activities as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Experience in electrical circuit design, PCB layout design/ PCB layout design process and rules • Education: BS in Electrical Engineering. •3-5 years of experience working as a team member in a multi-disciplinary team consisting of electrical, software, and mechanical engineers. • 3-5+ years of experience in integration, and test of complex systems • Knowledge of instrumentation devices, and expertise in using and integrating them into larger test systems. • Experience in the manufacturing release process. • Detailed knowledge of Acceptance Testing and/or System Testing procedures. • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. • Good verbal and written communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in developing semiconductor production testers (ATEs) or characterization testers or system level testers is a huge plus. -Prior experience in developing semiconductor production testers (ATEs) or characterization testers or system level testers is a huge plus. -Experience in a programing language such as C, C#, or Visual Basic a plus. -Knowledge of SEMI, UL, and other related regulatory standards a plus.
