Support a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company as a System Engineer doing vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ year’s relevant experience. • Systems engineering experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints. • Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives. • Able to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns. • Able to plan, conduct, and document trade studies. • Able to generate System/Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per the program statement of work (SOW).
Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering. • Experience with military vehicle systems. • Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases. • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo. • Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF). • Experience with DOORS requirements management tool. • Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
