Job Summary:
The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for managing the receipt and shipment of goods. This role involves ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing inventory, including materials, components, and finished products. The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for verifying product quantities and conditions, handling documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOL), coordinating with logistics partners, and maintaining organized records of shipments. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet production deadlines and customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of raw materials, components, or finished products.
- Verify product quantities, condition, and specifications by cross-referencing purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Unload shipments, check for damages, and report any discrepancies to the Logistics Manager.
- Ensure proper storage of materials in designated locations in the warehouse, following safety and organizational procedures.
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by packing products securely and labeling packages with correct shipping information.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to schedule shipments and track deliveries.
- Ensure that all outgoing shipments meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
- Use shipping software to generate shipping labels and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory levels, and product movements.
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move products safely.
- Complete required paperwork for shipments, including Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping orders, and material receipts.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping and receiving logs.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies in handling materials, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in training sessions and safety meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Logistics Manager.

Requirements
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with shipping software, inventory management systems, and barcode scanning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
