Job Title: Dietitian - Clinical Nutrition

Location: New York, NY 10034

Shift: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F (40 hours weekly)

Duration: 8 weeks (Possible Extension)

Pay Range: $54/hr.

Job Summary:

Creating nutritional assessments based on health metrics and existing habits.

Working independently and with other healthcare professionals to create individualized nutrition plans.

Educating patients and families on their specific dietary needs.

Developing meal plans that take patients’ life circumstances and chronic health conditions into account.

Tracking patient progress.

Connecting patients with other needed health services like fitness training and behavioral therapy.

Promoting nutrition through community-wide presentations and awareness programs.

Staying up-to-date on the latest nutritional research.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree.

Completion of an ACEND-accredited program in dietetics, registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD credential), and New York State certification as a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN).

Bilingual Spanish preferred
