Technician Integration Engineering

As a Technician in Integration Engineering, you’ll be at the heart of creating our launch vehicles and spacecraft. Your precision and expertise will directly contribute to the safety and performance of our vehicles, enabling successful missions and advancing human spaceflight. Without you, our ability to safely build and launch these groundbreaking systems would be compromised.
Here’s what you’ll be doing
You’ll assemble and integrate critical components for launch vehicles and spacecraft, collaborating with engineers and ensuring every system meets our rigorous aerospace standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components for New Shepard, New Glenn, and engines.
- Review, edit, and follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Plan and execute steps for complex installations.
- Safely handle hazardous systems with chemicals or high pressure.
- Contribute to design reviews and process improvements.
Shifts include:
- A Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (BLUE-REQ-0003414)
- B Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (BLUE-REQ-0003415)
- C Shift: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM - 6:00 PM (BLUE-REQ-0003416)
You Need These Qualifications
- Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- 3-5+ years of experience in precision assembly
- Experience drilling and preparing close tolerance holes for structural assembly and fastener installation
- Ability to document and maintain accurate records, strict procedural compliance, as well as read drawings and prints
- Ability to use standard tools and basic fabrication equipment
- Experience assembling and troubleshooting aerospace, military hardware, or other related fields
- Demonstrated ability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Work Monday -Thursday, 10 hour shifts (5AM- 3:30PM) with potential for overtime requests
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
