Job Description

Overview: The Business Transformation Senior Manager will deliver Procurement Transformation solutions to customers in targeted industries. This role will be engaging with clients to understand their requirements and discover their needs to propose a wide range of solutions in line with industry best practices and state-of-the-art software solutions.


What will you do:

  • Drive customer project and consulting engagements to deliver stated client requirements
  • Actively participate in presales client engagements to scope solutions and develop winning proposals
  • Be accountable for all project deliverables (across all streams) or own project deliverables that could be related to documentation of identified process challenges, potential improvements, and benefits, report out, or business cases
  • During the projects manage the team of individuals, coach the junior members, and ensure maximum quality of developed materials and deliverables
  • Utilize process and technology expertise to provide improvement recommendations and propose solutions to steer clients in their transformation journey. Interact with the corresponding client Subject Matter Experts and collaborate with the client in order to complete the assigned deliverables
  • Deliver procurement maturity assessments to provide clear roadmaps for improvements
  • Define and implement value metrics and KPIs that will demonstrate visible business success
  • Seamlessly collaborative with cross-functional teams within Capgemini for proposal development and solution delivery
  • Effectively use the consulting techniques related to problem-solving, design thinking, selling, and delivery of convincing presentation of your ideas
  • Demonstrate an extended ability to think outside of the box and challenge convention.
  • Share knowledge that can be used to drive new business development in our target markets
  • Keep abreast of technology developments, their strengths and weaknesses, and suggest technology-related improvements within the given area of expertise
  • Build knowledge and understanding of our market-leading assets and methods (e.g. Digital Global Enterprise Model (DGEM), ESOAR transformation method, intelligent automation, etc.)
  • Support Business Services solution process, acting as a cross stream Transformation Lead or specific tower Solution Lead
  • Interact with Client Stakeholders and build long-lasting relationship that will result in successful sale of future opportunities
  • Provide support in the development of Thought Leadership and contribute to innovation events/work
  • Engage in the development of your sub-team through operational activities such as: Recruitment, Learning & Development, talent management, performance management and career progression processes
  • Self-starter, looking for internal and external improvements to grow the business.


What you should have

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant procurement experience in industry operations or consultancy.
  • Experience in project type of work, with frequent Client interactions. At least 3 years of experience as the Project Stream Lead / Solution Lead / Project Manager
  • Team/people management experience
  • Experience in target operating model design, process design (process flows, narratives, operating procedures, control frameworks), and documentation preparation
  • Very good understanding of the GBS/SSC/BPO environment
  • Ability to understand customers’ businesses and procurement needs and leverage it to effectively design solutions to drive business value.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and client relationship-building and facilitation skills (meeting sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming, etc.)
  • Ability to handle complex situations with little to no guidance. Demonstrated ability to navigate in complex project environments and ability to communicate and influence senior management.
  • Experience in process modeling using Visio or Business Optix or similar application
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • English at CEFR Grade C1 (Advanced) or equivalent
  • Experience in client-facing activities (i.e. workshops, presentations, training)
  • Experience in project type of work, with frequent client interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the eProcurement systems (Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, etc.) and the ERPs (SAP, Oracle)
  • Good understanding of non-ERP process supporting tools – their functionalities and offered benefits (e.g. Service Now, Jira, Fairmarkit, Beeline, SAP Fieldglass, etc)
  • Ability to work under pressure from the business and technology community
  • Ability to establish and maintain world-class working relationships with all peers and stakeholders, including clients
  • Very good command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Demonstrate proactiveness and self-reliant approach to work with limited to no supervision
