Senior Project Manager – Cloud Migration

Optomi, in partnership with a leader within the logistics/distribution industry is seeking an Senior Project Manager for their Fort Worth, TX location! This individual will be responsible for collaborating between business leadership and technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have a mix of both agile and waterfall experience and experience working on cloud migration projects.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Managing moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger projects.
• Responsible for managing enterprise migration efforts.
• Collaborate between business and technology leadership!
• Ensuring project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation processes are followed. Including leading and driving project timeline, risk and issue management, and scope change management.
• Developing, coordinating, and executing project plans, task schedules, and resource activities to ensure on-time and effective project delivery.

Experience of the right candidate:

• Enterprise migration experience is required.
• Must have one transformation with heavy migration work under your belt.
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a project manager.
• Both agile and waterfall experience.
• Mix of both infrastructure and software projects.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects at one time.
• Ability to get in the weeds, do-er mindset!
• Excellent written, communications, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent skills in MS Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
