Day to Day:
The Project Manager will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role. - 80% of role is financial - managing cost, budget, cashflow etc
- 20% is being onsite, making sure concrete pouring goes well, workings with superintendents, gc's, explaining g the numbers to everyone else, reading drawings, working with quality team, etc.
- Responsible for Pre-Construction Duties
- Coordinates Job Transition and Start-up Process
- Manages Cost and Schedule
- Manages Cash Flow
- Oversees the Work of Direct Reports
- Maintains Client Relationship
- Generates and Submits Technical Records
- Supports Construction of Project
- Manages Project Safety and Risk Management Processes
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
Must Haves:
- 7 years of experience in concrete construction environment
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of experience.
- Experience with financials in concrete industry
- Cash flows, budgeting, reporting, cost
- Long term experience at previous companies -
