Sr. Front-End Software Engineer, Vue, JavaScript, Established Firm, Remote

You will work on building intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks. A key focus of this role will be integrating AI features to personalize learning experiences, helping students achieve measurable growth and success in history and literacy.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and develop the front-end for a profitable product, building on its performance, ability to scale, and adding newer technology
• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js
• Work closely with back-end developers, product managers, and user experience designers to build user-friendly and scalable features
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features, ensuring performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and reviews
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the platform in a timely manner

What skills/experience do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js and JavaScript or TypeScript
• Understanding of front-end architecture, responsive design, and performance optimization
• Experience working within a Scrum team or an Agile environment
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

What will make your résumé stand out?

• .NET experience in full stack development
• Extensive experience with Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vuex, Vue Router, etc.)
• Experience with state management libraries like Vuex, Pinia, or similar
• Familiarity with modern front-end tools and build processes (Webpack, Vite, etc.)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud or similar Cloud Platforms
• Previous experience working in educational technology or with AI-driven platforms

Location: Remote with a preference for Texas residents, but open to the U.S. locations
