What You’ll Do
As the Senior Process Engineer , you’ll take ownership of kiln processes, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process operations across multiple production units. This is a strategic role focused on process optimization, new technology implementation, and operational excellence .
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for kiln operations, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process technologies.
- Lead process gap analyses and implement performance improvement strategies .
- Optimize conversion rates, throughput, and quality control to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Develop and execute new technology applications to enhance operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and sales teams to support product commercialization and quality enhancements .
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, operational supervisors, and technical leads.
- Influence multi-site process improvements , ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Support capital projects related to process and technology advancements.
What You Need
?? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields). Advanced degree preferred.
?? 10+ years of experience in process and operations management , specifically in kiln operations, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process technologies .
?? Proven ability to analyze and optimize production processes in a chemical or materials manufacturing environment .
?? Strong background in technology application, process control, and continuous improvement initiatives .
?? Ability to mentor, train, and develop junior engineers .
?? Experience with large-scale capital projects and implementing new technologies.
?? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making .
