Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Market leading manufacturer of built-to-order, high reliability, mission critical products for the marine and defense industries has retained us to find a site Manufacturing Engineering Manager . In this important position, you will:

• Reduce production backlog by removing Engineering barriers;
• Manage 10 direct reports (5 Manufacturing Engineers, 3 Process Experts; and 1 CNC Programmer / Tooling Designer, 2 Engineering Interns); and
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades to equipment, machinery and processes to improve workflow and on-time orders.

Qualifications:

• BS (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering highly preferred)
• 5 years leading a manufacturing engineering team
• High mix, low volume machining
• Capital Equipment justification, purchase, run-off
• Track record of accomplishments
• Proactive, Hands-on
• US Citizen
