Broadcast Engineer - Direct Hire - Tulsa, OK ($50K-$58K)
We are seeking a Broadcast Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Tulsa, OK. This position primarily requires 40 hours per week , with occasional flexibility to cover breaking news, severe weather, vacations, or special events. Remote work is not available.
Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education & Experience: Associate's degree in electronics, military training, or trade school certification preferred; 3+ years of broadcast engineering or similar experience preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of broadcast systems , RF technology, digital video/audio standards, and IP-based solutions.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment (waveform monitors, oscilloscopes, voltmeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
  • Proficiency with broadcast-related software and tools .
  • Competency with hand tools, soldering equipment, and small power tools .
  • Familiarity with FCC regulations and industry standards .
• Physical & Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to climb a 20-foot ladder and perform work at various heights.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor, studio, and high-noise environments .
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unaided.
  • Must have or obtain a valid Oklahoma driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to remote broadcast locations as needed.
