The Hospital Account Representative II supports Account Managers in securing new sales and renewing existing accounts by managing assigned tasks and contributing to overall account success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow the company’s established sales process to transition competitive accounts to its technology.
- Perform side-by-side demonstrations and evaluations to showcase the company’s technologies.
- Collaborate with clinical specialists to conduct physical inventories as part of the sales process.
- Support and deliver presentations highlighting the company’s value proposition.
- Support Account Managers in finalizing agreements for both new account conversions and the renewal of existing accounts.
- Communicate clinical study data effectively to highlight the benefits of the company’s technologies.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to develop strategic and tactical selling skills, applying their guidance to future sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRM database, including key account profiles, updates on current account status, next steps for establishing targeted VCCCs, and a detailed list of sales opportunities with accurate sales forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with 3+ years of related work experience - background knowledge of selling in a hospital environment preferred.
- Experience with B2B sales with a track record of exceeding quota preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and exceptional ability to lead group presentations.
- Successful history managing customer interactions, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to present inside and/or outside the organization; speaking before assigned team or other groups as needed.
- Some Travel and overnight stays are required, as well as a valid driver’s license.
