Job Description

We’re looking for a talented, creative, and energetic Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in Dallas, Texas. The Marketing Specialist will closely collaborate and work with the Marketing Manager and other business leaders to support marketing initiatives for the Dal-Tile, American Olean, and Marazzi brands. This position has broad exposure to functional activities across multiple brands and channels. This role is responsible for project management and execution of assigned brand marketing initiatives to meet and exceed annual brand objectives.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator who excels at resourcefulness and creative thinking. This role offers the opportunity to provide valuable input on creative initiatives while collaborating directly with cross-functional teams to ensure all deliverables uphold brand standards and align seamlessly with product strategy.


Primary Objective

Join the Daltile Brand Marketing Team as a vital contributor, where you'll manage and execute a wide range of responsibilities. These include overseeing advertisements, product sponsorships, email creative, trade show materials, channel collateral, merchandising, and more. Be a driving force in shaping impactful marketing initiatives!


Primary Function and Scope

Brand and Marketing Planning

  • Collaborates with Sr. Brand Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager to develop and execute project plans based on defined brand strategy/initiative.
  • Leads various marketing projects with cross-functional teams as assigned.


Brand & Project Management

  • Manage and support day-to-day advertisement and sponsorship deliverables, working closely with the Marketing Manager to execute communication strategies.
  • Serves as the key contact for product trade-out opportunities, overseeing ordering, influencing design, managing timelines, and budgets, and coordinating assets.
  • Acts as a liaison between brand marketing, creative services, and product teams.
  • Manage the development and distribution of new marketing collateral, encompassing a wide range of materials such as sales sheets, installation instructions, brochures, catalogs, labels, digital banners, eBlasts, social kits, videos, photography, presentations, merchandising tools, and more.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all marketing materials through thorough proofing, fact-checking, copywriting, editing, and formatting.
  • Ensure website accuracy for owned programs, including copy, documents, and images.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing materials meet accuracy standards and align with the needs for samples, collateral, technology-based initiatives, videos, public relations, and other tools for new product launches and special projects
  • Develop timelines/tracking, action plans, and associated communication documents for all projects and provide ongoing communication to brand leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Work towards achieving, maintaining, and exploring ways to improve current processes to better serve our teams & customers.
  • Provide responsive and helpful support to internal and external customers on inquiries and special projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required.



Required Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or relevant internships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Knowledge

  • Familiarity or experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Experience with project management software such as Workfront, Monday, and Smartsheet.
