We are seeking a motivated, creative, detail-oriented chemist to lead our chemical R&D laboratory.  Our project work spans multiple industries, with an emphasis on green technology, water chemistry, and the environment.  This role provides an excellent career growth opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform R&D experiments for new chemical product and technology development
• Design and perform product application testing for multiple client and company projects
• Prepare reports on work performed 
• Perform analytical testing on formulas and chemical processes
• Assist with laboratory operations, purchasing, and maintenance
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory
• Assist in drafting and supporting patent applications

Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry, M.S. preferred. 
• > 3 years of R&D laboratory experience 
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive success independently
• Demonstrated mastery of chemistry concepts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and quality of work
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
• Experience with chemical product formulation and analytical techniques including GC, LC, and MS is a plus.
