SVP of Clinical Quality
Location: Franklin, TN
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Travel: Up to 60% (must be in Nashville for 5 days at least once a month)
Salary: $200K–$300K (DOE), with up to 35% bonus potential

Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced SVP, Clinical Quality to join our client’s team in Franklin, TN . This role will support the client’s surgical facilities by building and driving the clinical quality strategy, risk management, patient safety, and patient experience. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with the ability to work with field employees and present to the Board, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive clinical quality strategy to drive performance improvement and standardize best practices across surgical centers.
- Provide oversight of clinical operations, including Director of Clinical Operations (DCOs), ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals.
- Establish regulatory compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support clinical operations.
- Collaborate with market leadership and field teams to develop strategies to achieve key clinical outcomes.
- Serve as a key influencer and advisor to executive leadership, including the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead efforts to build trust and buy-in with center leaders where ownership stakes vary.
- Identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and oversee implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and develop clinical teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required.
- Active RN license (any state).
- 15+ years of clinical, operational, and management experience within healthcare settings.
- Previous experience influencing executive leadership at large healthcare organizations.
- Strong ability to design and implement process improvement plans and drive adoption.
- Proven leadership in managing multi-site healthcare operations.
- Expertise in clinical regulatory standards and hospital accreditation.
Preferred Experience
- Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience preferred but not required.
- Surgical services experience preferred.
