Your New Role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and providing engineering solutions for projects within an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) engineering consultancy in Connecticut. A staple of the local engineering community, this company does school, municipal, government, and healthcare projects, among a mix of commercial and residential projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with other Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to execute tasks related to mechanical design.

- Project Management: Oversee healthcare project flow, QA/QC on design, and client meetings.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for MEP systems.
- Experience People Managing a Team of Design Engineers
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong technical proficiency, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
