Job Responsibilities

? Build new experiences that delight customers.

? Build new abilities into the editorial experience to enhance SAN’s technical functionality.

? Build and maintain API endpoints that power our mobile apps.

? Partner with product, design, and qa teams to create solutions to complex problems.

? Partner with mobile app teams to ensure a consistent experience across devices.

? Research new technologies and ways to optimize the developer and user experiences.

? Be performance oriented, focusing on building solutions to problems that are scalable.

Job Requirements

? 5-10 years professional software development experience.

? Strong experience working with WordPress - theme development, admin customization,

and API development.

? Strong customer focus; experience working on an enterprise, customer-facing

application.

? Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with JavaScript/Typescript and React.

? Strong communication and collaboration skills.

? Strong attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

? Proficiency in common engineering tools and services, such as version control, package

management, and CI/CD pipelines.

Additional Qualifications

? Experience with a high-traffic web environment.

? Experience working with third-party contract developers.

? Experience working cross-platform (mobile + web) to ensure consistency across

presentation layers.
