Responsibilities of the HR Specialist – Operations Coordinator:
- Oversee and manage daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and back-end HR functions.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees at the Nashville location, handling time and attendance matters with professionalism and warmth.
- Collaborate with leadership to recruit and onboard new hires when capacity allows, supporting the company’s continued growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve and upgrade HR processes, leading initiatives to implement these changes.
- Manage employee relations with a focus on building a positive and engaging workplace culture.
- Utilize HR software such as Bamboo HR and Paylocity to maintain accurate records and streamline HR operations (experience with these platforms is a plus but not required).
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring HR goals align with organizational objectives.
Requirements for the HR Specialist – Operations Coordinator:
- 3–5 years of HR experience, including payroll, benefits, and other back-end functions.
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities without micromanagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to address employee concerns gracefully and effectively.
- A proactive, curious mindset with a drive to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to collaborate with leadership and provide gentle but firm reminders to meet deadlines.
