A large non-profit academic institution in Northern New Jersey is looking to hire a Gastroenterologist for their growing program. This is full time position with competitive compensation package including benefits, malpractice coverage, PTO, etc.

Job Function:

Hospital has arrangement with local academic program to host medical students and other academic initiatives
Primarily group is community doctors, but they are looking to hire 1-2 more gastroenterologists in house to develop the program
Approximately 50/50 time in office versus endoscopy time
Have clinics offsite for ambulatory time but all endoscopies done at the hospital. Will be building a brand new ambulatory pavilion in next 2 years
Willing to accommodate someone with Advanced Endoscopy, Motility, or IBD training
Expect one week a month of call, on for a week (very light call, have moonlighters and limit calls in outside of business hours)

Job Requirements:

MD or DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology
Fellowship training in IBD, Motility or Advanced Endoscopy to be considered but not required
Willing to consider fellow graduating in next 9 months
NJ License Required
