Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of electrical systems and operations within a manufacturing facility. This role will require strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team of 30 employees. A four-year degree is not required, but prior manufacturing experience and a solid understanding of PLC systems are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 30 electrical technicians and support staff.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Utilize PLC systems for system diagnostics and troubleshooting (programming skills not required).
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and training as necessary.
- Manage electrical inventory and ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
- Identify and recommend process improvements for enhanced system reliability and efficiency.
Job Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent (4-year degree not required).
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Strong background in PLC systems (diagnostic and troubleshooting skills required; programming not required).
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
