Office Services Supervisor New York, NY (Onsite) Overview: This position is for a law firm account overseeing a small team of 3-4 members. The role involves managing day-to-day office services, including mail, shipping, copying, scanning, office supplies, conference room reservations, catering, and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of a small to medium office site and manage a team.
- Handle contracted services such as copy, courier, mail, hospitality, imaging, and managed print services.
- Conduct staff performance management and career development activities with support from leadership.
- Prioritize tasks and maintain a positive, customer-focused work culture.
- Ensure the achievement of Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
- Manage labor production percentages and assist with business process improvements.
- Maintain proper staffing levels to meet operational demands.
- Foster customer satisfaction through feedback and retention efforts.
- Assist with Facilities requests and ensure adherence to audit and deadline standards.
- Manage receptionist duties including greeting guests and handling phone calls.
Requirements: - Proven leadership and managerial skills with experience in office operations support.
- Strong time management, task prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and accommodate customer requests.
- Previous experience in hotelling, business office environments, or law firms preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (assistance available for heavier loads).
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a business casual dress code.
- Flexibility to work early or late as needed to meet end-user requests.
