Minimum Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of experience of medical/surgical, telemetry, and critical care. Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years of leadership (formal or informal) Required Certification/Registration: Current unencumbered WV RN licensure ACLS, PALS required within one year of employment CCG training required within one year of employment. Registered Nurse in this position assumes responsibility and accountability to manage Davis Medical Center with the assistance of or in the absence of Nursing Administration and/or Hospital Administration. Consults and reports to the Administrator on call, Chief Nursing Officer, and the Director of Inpatient Services. Provides nursing leadership for staff involved in patient care services. Provides administrative decision making and assists with coordination of patient flow, patient placement, staff allocation, and other patient services through collaboration with administration and other members of the health care team.
