Job Overview This IT Manager position overseeing the Network and Telecom group. As a working manager you will work closely the IT technical staff to oversee operations of the Deaconess network and phone systems. You will plan, direct, and coordinate the strategic development, implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions that meet organizational initiatives and strategies. Develop and drive cost efficiencies within our IS services and project delivery. Mentor and develop IS Team leads and/or IS Supervisors.
- Ensure the Network and Telecom team is delivering on support expectations as issue arise.
- Ensure the technical goals of the team are aligned with the broader goals of the health system.
- Develop and lead network and telecom architecture initiatives.
- Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
- Directs research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
- Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
- Accomplishes financial and budget objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and key performance metrics.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor.

- Associates/Bachelors Degree in CIS/CS or Equivalent Education preferred.
- CCNA/CCNP Network certification or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant IS experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science or Healthcare Informatics preferred.
