Job Overview:
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will play a crucial role in the distribution center operations. This position involves handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and maintaining warehouse operations efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize pallet jacks and RF scanners to manage stock movements within the warehouse
- Perform order picking, packing, and shipping of products accurately
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and ensure correct quantities
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using proper equipment such as pallet jacks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting preferred
- Familiarity with basic math for inventory counting and order verification
- Ability to operate a pallet jack safely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing
- Knowledge of order picking processes and procedures
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs
