As a Contracts Manager, you will prepare and administer bids, proposals, and contracts in alignment with company policies and legal regulations. This role involves managing contracts administration staff, negotiating with suppliers or partners, and ensuring compliance throughout the contract lifecycle, while demonstrating expertise in various contract types and government regulations.

Essential Functions: - Assist with closeout of subcontracts.
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cost reimbursable, time and materials, fixed unit rate, firm fixed price, and hybrid type contracts.
- Provide contract analysis and recommendations to appropriate leadership staff on potential gaps or risks.
- Required skills include excellent communication and organization; working with and maintaining confidential information; strong technical writing and documentation; advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Assist in project cost management and coordinate issue resolution with vendors and customers.
- Disseminate information to critical personnel regarding changes and updates relating to contracts.
- Exhibit sound business judgment, working well both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment to develop comprehensive, effective solutions to challenging issues.
- Monitor small business goals on assigned subcontracts, coordinate with team members, maintain records, and participate in small business activities/fairs.
- Administer contracts, including large Federal Government ID/IQ contracts, task orders, and complex performance-based contracts with the assistance of the Director of Contracts.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals, conducting cost analysis support, progress, as well as other various reports.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on contract administration activities and must be able to communicate this knowledge.
- Anticipate and execute on prerequisites as stated in contract terms, such as licensing, background checks, state/local union membership, etc.
- Coordinate with Contracts Administrators to develop, produce, and review subcontract documentation such as subcontracts, agreements, modification task/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analysis, special contract provisions, statement of work, proposals, certifications, and correspondence.
- Evaluate proposals and quotations, determine offer responsiveness, responsibility, and eligibility for award, as well as provide support for discussions and negotiations.
Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or project management; will consider directly related work experience and/or
- 8+ years of progressive responsibility administering Federal Government contract management.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: - MBA in a related field.
- NCMA Certification CACM or CPCM preferred.
- Experience with managing and reporting Government Property.
