We are seeking a skilled NETA Certified Test Technicians for the Orlando, Fl area! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tests, inspections, manufacturer warranty work, start-up maintenance, and repairs onsite at end-user facilities for low and medium voltage (up to 35kV) electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test electrical busway power distribution systems to identify malfunctions or defects using wiring diagrams and testing devices.
• Conduct instrument transformer tests, power transformer testing (using Doble, TTR, insulation resistance), and perform electro-mechanical and solid-state relay testing.
• Test and maintain low and medium voltage switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on substation relay and control systems.
• Document and maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.

Experience & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant electrical testing experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in heavy industry, large commercial buildings, or construction.
• Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
• NETA Level II or III certification (or the ability to obtain and maintain).
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED (or willingness to obtain if not current).
