Director of Nursing Services opening, Hanover, PA – RN

A reputable skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee its Nursing Service Department. This position offers a chance to lead in a well-established, 135-bed environment in the Hanover, PA area.

Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage the Nursing Service Department to ensure exceptional standards of care.
Regularly review nurses’ notes to confirm accurate and thorough documentation of residents' treatment, medications, and health status.
Conduct daily rounds to assess resident care, interact with physicians, and engage with selected residents.
Collaborate with the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator to organize, schedule, and update the MDS, including RAPs and triggers.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in a long-term care setting, specifically in roles such as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Director of Nursing Services (DNS).
