*Responsibilities*
* Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
* Assist with sterile processing and ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Provide pain management support to patients as needed.
* Perform catheterization and IV insertion procedures.
* Conduct specimen collection processing and maintain accurate records.
* Support physicians during medical procedures, including spinal taps.
* Lift and transport patients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and post-treatment care.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursing stations and patient areas.

*Skills*
* Proficient in sterile processing techniques and infection control measures.
* Strong knowledge of pain management practices.
* Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
* Ability to perform catheterization, IV insertion, and spinal taps effectively.
* Familiarity with basic life support protocols and emergency response procedures.
* Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork.
* Attention to detail in specimen collection processing and documentation.
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN/LTC to fill an opening located in Meeker, CO for $45.56/hr (taxed + non-taxed)

*Requirements of the LPN*

? Must have AHA BLS, certification

? Must have 2 years exp in LTC

? Must have valid CO License or compact

? Must have \_ MDS Experience preferred

? Pass a Background check / medical test / skill test/drug test
