Market Development Coordinator
Come join our growing Marketing Department! Goodheart-Willcox Publisher, Experts in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and an employee-owned company, is seeking a Market Development Coordinator . This individual will have an opportunity to analyze market development needs, build prospect lists, create, and deliver campaigns, and track prospective engagements. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, creative, and detail-orientated. This position will follow a hybrid schedule, working at minimum of two days per month in our Tinley Park, Illinois office.
Our compensation is market based and takes into account a variety of factors including the candidate's skill set, experience level, internal equity, and location. For this position, we anticipate the starting salary falling between $42,000 and $47,000 per year. In addition, the company makes a 10% contribution to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 4% matching contribution to the 401(k).
What you'll do:
  • Create and send email campaigns utilizing MailChimp/MDR email campaigns.
  • Prepare and maintain prospect tracking spreadsheets and online forms.
  • Pull and analyze sales and contract reports.
  • Research new prospects on institution/partner websites.
  • Track prospects as they engage from online forms, interviews, and reviews.
  • Track engagement and analyze results to recommend best practices for future campaigns.
  • Assist in creating sales tools, including competitive analyses, sales playbooks, and presentations.
  • Interview or meet with prospective customers and G-W authors for video testimonials and product feedback.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of one year of either direct work or internship experience in Marketing or Sales required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal organizational skill
