Job Summary: Supermicro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and grow relationships with our large enterprise customers. In this farming-focused role, the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities within their established portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to foster long-term relationships, communicate effectively with senior executives, and drive customer retention and growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage and nurture relationships with existing enterprise customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and upselling within current accounts.
- Monitor account health and proactively address customer needs, product issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer requests, from product orders to service support.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and renewals to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Track customer activity and sales progress and provide regular updates and reports to leadership on account status and opportunities.
- Consistently meet or exceed account revenue and growth targets.
- Leverage existing relationships and work to build new synergies with C-level executives and key decision-makers within the customer base.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance customer engagement and improve service offerings.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the high-tech or IT industry.
- At least 4 years of experience in account management or sales, with a focus on maintaining and growing relationships with enterprise-level clients.
- Proven ability to manage and expand existing accounts, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- Experience using CRM tools to track and report customer activity and sales progress.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office tools; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Salary Range $116,000- $134,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
