    Job Details
  • MedSurg Level 7- Post Surgical position at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia.
  • 27 beds with nurse to patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.
  • Common diagnoses include orthopedic surgeries and general surgical procedures.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required.
  • RN License required.
  • Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM for RNs and 6 AM to 6 PM for CNAs.
  • Every other weekend requirement.
  • May be asked to participate in holiday rotation.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Charge nurses are present on each shift; daylight charge does not take an assignment. Night charge may take a small assignment.
    Additional Details
  • No self-scheduling; set schedules are usually followed based on staff preference.
  • Floating may occur on a rotating basis to other units as needed.
