  • Cheshire will not consider "Local Travelers" (those who reside within 50 miles of facility).
  • Covid vaccinations strongly recommended, but not required.
  • This traveler will provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life span, utilizing knowledge of age related growth and development to individualize the nursing process in accordance with the nursing philosophy and objectives, the Standards of care, and the Standards of practice.
    Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience - Required
  • Postpartum and Mother/Baby care experience - Required
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Cover page (if available/not required)
  • Work History
  • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and NRP)

  • Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
  • RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!
  • NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

  • Non-Billable Orientation: 0 Multipliers (OT, Holiday, Call-Back): 1.25% Call: 4.00
    Additional Details
  • As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance.
  • Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
