Metal Fabrication Manager
We are seeking a Metal Fabrication Manager with experience in sales & estimating to lead sales initiatives and enhance estimating processes for complex weldments and heavy fabrication projects. This role is key to expanding our business with accurate project quoting and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

• Sales Leadership:
  
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet growth targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team.
• Estimating Oversight:
  
  • Improve estimating accuracy for complex projects.
  • Analyze project requirements and costs to create precise estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to refine estimates.
• Continuous Improvement & Technology Utilization:
  
  • Implement technology to streamline estimating processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Use data to drive insights and refine estimating accuracy.
• Customer Engagement:
  
  • Serve as the primary contact for high-profile customers.
  • Ensure customer requirements are communicated throughout the process.
  • Present proposals and negotiate contracts.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  • 7-10 years in sales management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in estimating complex weldments or fabrication projects.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing teams.
• Skills:
  
  • Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and CRM tools.
• Education:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business preferred.
