*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate *Psychologist* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of post-doctoral experience in providing psychological services and community referrals. This role involves conducting appropriate and timely evaluations, participating in interdisciplinary treatment plans, including the communication of psychological/neuropsychological information, as needed. Additionally, and as appropriate, (s)he participates in the development of program evaluation and performance improvement procedures, treatment protocols and the provision of staff education and training. The Psychologist will contribute to the efficient and safe operation of the hospital and the achievement of the mission and values of *Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation*.

*Physical/Mental Requirements*

This position requires the ability to receive detailed/technical information from a variety of sources, retain it, interpret it, and use it effectively in future decision making. The position also requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and visitors. In addition, the ability to establish and maintain rapport in assessment and therapy is necessary with the responsibility for facilitating communication resting on the therapist. The ability to move patients a short distance in wheelchairs and arrange furniture in rooms for groups is usually required. The ability to travel between hospital and off-site offices during the day is often required.

*Environmental and Working Conditions*

Typical office/hospital environment; must travel to off-site and outside meetings and conferences. There is the potential risk of exposure to disease and/or hazardous materials in this working environment.
