Situated at a transportation crossroads, it offers quick access to major cities like Baltimore, Boston, and New York. As one of the largest manufacturers in the area, we produce a wide range of dry pet food, including beloved brands like Puppy Chow, Pro Plan, and Friskies. Join us in Mechanicsburg, where small-town living meets big-city perks, and together, we make a differenceAs Production Supervisor, you are responsible for management of people, quality, safety, planning, output, equipment maintenance and sanitation across your production lines. You will coordinate cross-functionally with other team leads to ensure optimized factory operations and drive continuous improvement efforts. In this lead role, you will establish and foster a culture of accountability and standards that promotes safe, quality behaviors. You will engage, coach and develop individuals to successfully contribute to the achievement of team performance goals.Lead and support frontline associates in the production of dry pet foodEmpower and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, training and recognitionPromote and maintain a culture of standards, emphasizing safety, quality and efficient, sustainable deliveryManage the production technician schedule to maximize output while minimizing costsEnsure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within good manufacturing practices (GMP)Utilize problem solving and collaboration skills to reduce downtime, optimize staffing, continuously improve operational efficiency and meet customer demandCoordinate with engineering, maintenance and warehouse leadership to complete training, repairs and projectsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.2+ years

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
