Job Summary:
Oversee daily back-of-house operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and hospitality in collaboration with the General Manager. Lead and develop the kitchen team while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage back-of-house operations, guest satisfaction, and cleanliness.
- Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering professional growth.
- Ensure recipe accuracy, food safety, and compliance with health standards.
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, and financial profitability.
- Collaborate on menu development, creating innovative dishes and specials.
- Maintain operational systems, including payroll and purchasing.
- Uphold company policies and Department of Health regulations.
- Lead by example with a positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Chef, CDC, or Senior Sous Chef in high-volume kitchens.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, menu planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial management, P&L statements, and labor models.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
- Physically capable of standing, lifting, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
