Job Details

This position will support Quality Assurance Engineering functions. Act as Quality Assurance representative for suite of programs. Ensure strict adherence to Program and Customer requirements in the design, manufacturing, and testing of products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare Quality Assurance Test, inspection, and program plans & procedures.
• Review Manufacturing and design engineering documentation to ensure necessary quality and Customer provisions are met.
• Reside as Chairman of Material Review & Corrective Action Boards.
• Assure adequate supplier controls, especially when Customer directed.
• Interface with Customer and Government representatives.
• Act as Final Test Director for assigned programs.
• Support ISO/AS process audits, and develop audit reports.
• Work closely with the PMO and Manufacturing on Performance, Cost and Schedule impacts for nonconformances and corrective actions.
• Coordinate investigations, nonconformances, and corrective actions with manufacturing, reliability and PMO.
• Support schedule requirements from PMO by surging when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:

Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related discipline.

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.

5+ Years of related experience in manufacturing industry.

Experience:

Knowledge of ISO/AS Quality Management Systems, ESD and Contamination Control.
