We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional who combines hands-on expertise with strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit to lead our people operations at OpusClip. As the Head of People or HR Director, you will be the primary architect of our overall people strategy, championing a culture of innovation, execution, and growth.Your Mission

HR Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives and fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution.Recruiting:

Oversee and enable global talent acquisition efforts, ensuring top-tier hiring across geographies to meet aggressive growth targets while enhancing employer branding.Compensation & Benefits:

Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and reward top talent while aligning with market trends and company goals.Employee Relations:

Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, fostering an inclusive and engaged workplace while addressing concerns proactively.Performance Management:

Build and execute performance management frameworks that drive business impact, foster culture-building, and ensure alignment with company objectives.Learning & Development:

Redesign onboarding and orientation programs, and develop and deliver learning initiatives that enhance skills, bridge gaps, and support employees’ professional growth in the fast-evolving AI industry.Compliance & Immigration:

Ensure compliance with global employment laws and regulations across the US, Canada, Singapore, and China by developing HR policies and processes that address legal and cultural requirements, while overseeing immigration processes to facilitate seamless onboarding and adherence to international employment standards.Leadership:

Inspire, mentor, and collaborate with the existing HR team to build trust and alignment for the team’s success while demonstrating leadership capabilities that influence and support all the other teams, positioning the HR function as a strategic partner and enabler for the entire organization.The Ideal Candidate

10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in fast-growing organizations, with a proven track record spanning multiple industries, diverse company stages (from startups to large-scale enterprises), and experience across full business cycles within the tech, SaaS, or AI space.Exceptional ability to align strategic thinking with hands-on execution, capable of building processes from the ground up in a resource-constrained environment.Strong expertise across all HR functions, with a particular focus on global C&B, performance management, L&D and immigration.Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills to support global teams and bridge cultural nuances effectively.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, uncover opportunities in unknown spaces, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a passion for building a people-first culture in a dynamic, high-growth company.Join us at OpusClip to lead our people strategy, build a world-class team, and shape the future of AI-driven video storytelling!
