Work-from-home flexibility is also available to support work-life balance.About The RoleDPMC is seeking an accomplished litigator to join the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.The ideal candidate should be skilled at handling cases from inception through resolution. This role involves managing a diverse caseload and delivering strategic advice to clients. Candidates will support numerous governmental entities and private clients in the state of California. Discretionary and billable incentives are available.Other benefits include a competitive benefits package and a 401k with a partial match.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute case strategies, including risk assessment, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparationWork closely with clients to provide clear legal advice, case assessments, and updates on case developmentsSupport all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, pre-trial motions, and settlement negotiationsCollaborate with expert witnesses, including medical, forensic, engineering, and economic experts, to strengthen case argumentsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in California2-7 years of litigation experience, public agency experience preferred (not required)Proven ability to manage and prioritize a large, demanding caseload with limited oversightExceptional oral advocacy, legal writing, and negotiation skillsStrong client relationship management skills with an ability to communicate complex legal strategies effectivelyExperience with e-discovery tools and case management softwareHourly Requirement1,600 annual billable hours; inquire about quarterly bonus incentives for exceeding billable hour s requirements#J-18808-Ljbffr
