Scopa Italian Roots is looking for a wine director or experienced sommelier.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a Chef driven, contemporary, and full-service environment
  • Commitment to creating a welcoming, memorable, and unique guest experience
  • A knowledge of wine and spirits and the dedication to consistently educate our guests and team
  • Self-motivated, work clean, and stay organized
  • Positive and forward-thinking attitude with an knack for problem solving, team building and turning challenges into success stories
  • Understand our technologies and care about accuracy - (POS, Excel, Word, Ctuit,)
  • Have a basic understanding of COGs, identify opportunity areas and course correct as needed
  • Achieve or exceed beverage cost expectations while maintaining quality, accuracy and timing standards
  • Open and flexible schedule
