Valimail is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. You will be working on our Enforce, Align, and Monitor products, building out new features in Ruby on Rails and/or Golang. You will be part of a collaborative team that is helping to build our industry-leading SaaS DMARC application, building out APIs and other improvements to the platform. Additionally, you should stay up to date with industry trends, bringing that innovation into your day-to-day work. Collaborating in a stable high-performance software systemWriting scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable codeBuilding and maintaining applications in fullstack Ruby on Rails or GoImplementing features and fixes working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teamsHelping to cultivate a culture of technical excellence, communication, celebration, and learningImproving development processes by identifying inefficiencies in workflows and providing effective, measurable solutionsCollaboratively define, scope, prioritize, and estimate work demonstrating business need and impactProviding technical expertise throughout the product life cycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructureAbout You

5+ years of experience in building production web applicationsSignificant experience in Ruby on Rails or Go; exposure to the otherAbility and desire to learn and develop in different programming languagesProficient understanding of how to write, analyze and optimize PostgreSQLExperience developing RESTful APIsDesire to continuously improveComfort and ability to operate in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with othersBonus Points
