IMLC Welcome - Locums - Galesburg, Illinois, Radiation/Oncologist Job
  • Clinical Role:

    • Locum job opening
    • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible radiation oncologist
    • Must have at least one year post training experience
    • Coverage needed March 21-28
    • Locum will be responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning, prescription for radiation therapy, weekly assessments of patients under treatment, and post-treatment patient follow-up
    • The physician is also responsible for checking daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment
    • Clinic coverage - no call, holidays or weekends!
    • Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
    • 25-30 patients under treatment per day
    • Cases - External beam treatments, OTVs and follow ups
    • Procedures required - on site supervision for compliance, checking SRSs, on treatment visits, occasional follow up or consult
    • BLS required
    • EMR: EPIC
