Magnet Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a challenging opportunity in a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment and Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs to develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to medical protocols.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure positive patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding the plan of care and any changes in condition.

• Patient Education:

  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans.
  • Provide instructions on medication management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care.

• Documentation and Safety:

  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
