We’re looking for someone to lead the security engineering and compliance function at LangChain. Keeping a strong security posture is a top, shared priority for our company, across all functions, and we’re looking for someone to ensure excellence. This is a dynamic role that spans security engineering and GRC (governance, risk, and compliance).Address any security alerts that come up in vulnerability scans.Implement security engineering best practices (network, code, pod review).Maintain our current certifications (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2) and help us achieve additional compliances.Invest in new security tools and best practices to strengthen our posture.Manage our security bounty program.Aid our infosec process to support new business.Partner with pentesters, infosec specialists, and engineering.Lead our corporate security program.How To Be Successful In This Role

3+ years experience in a related function — GRC, security engineering, or security ops.Strong technical abilities.Organized, systems oriented, and get it done attitude.Can thrive in a fast-moving environment. Views unstructured environments as an opportunity to figure out the most impactful work and define the future success of the company.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects.Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.Annual salary range: $135,000-$185,000 USD.Seniority level
