Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Risk Specialist, who is responsible for ensuring that fraud risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained, and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their fraud risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree is a plus
5+ years of experience
Experience with the creation review/maintenance in the operational/technology risk programs
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Experience with Archer GRC
Experience with the development and management of internal risks and control
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience with technology risk within Financial institutions
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
1st Line of Defense risk experience
Analytical background is a plus
Proficient in Visio is a plus
Proficient in Tableau is a plus
COSO certification is a plus
Experience with GenAI is a plus
Experience with KY3P (know your third party) is a plus
ISACA Certifications are a plus
CISA or Certified Risk Systems Controls (CRISC) Certifications are a plus
Responsibilities:
Leads or influences technology risk initiatives and business-as-usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact, and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate
Provides Technology risk expertise while working with Technology teams, subsidiaries the Lines of Businesses, and other risk partners (e.g., Independent Risk Management, Compliance, Audit)
Executes the technology risk management programs within or across Technology and the Lines of Business (e.g. – Technology and Line of Business risk and control self-assessments and technology quality assurance reviews)
Supports execution of the Technology risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations
Leads in the design and development of technology controls for specific technology risk management program components
Executes the Technology Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable
Enables Technology and Line of Business adherence with Technology risk management programs
May lead cross-functional teams
